Baghdad: Seven wounded as Sunni Muslims bomb Shi’ite mosque

In The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS, which you can order here now, I show that the Sunni/Shi’ite split goes back to the earliest days of Islam, and has often over the centuries erupted into violence. This is certain to keep on happening, since the death penalty for heretics remains part of Islamic law in both its Sunni and Shi’a versions.

So in bringing vast numbers of both Sunnis and Shi’ites into Western nations, we are importing the Sunni/Shi’ite jihad as well. Don’t believe me? Consider this: already in Britain, the non-Muslims are aware of Sunni-Shia hostility and fear its consequences. In 2014, an 84-year-old non-Muslim, Kenneth Peters, who lived in a Shi’ite area, said: “What half of us fear is a load of angry Sunnis from Slough coming here and having a rumble.”

“Angry Sunnis from Slough.” Do you think Kenneth Peters had any idea what a Sunni or a Shi’ite was, or that they would always be at each other’s throats, when he was 24, or 44, or even 74? Celebrate diversity! There will be much more of this.

The toll was initially put at seven dead and more than 20 wounded. But police and other security sources said on Saturday the attackers had leaked false news of casualties through witnesses that police relied on for their reports….
